When you type in H does the ribbon change to hatch creation. if yes then click the the small diagonal arrow at the bottom left of option tab.

hello. I dont typically use the ribbon but i changed back to the ribbon to try, pressing H just grey's out the ribbon and no buttons work until i press escape, same as the what happens in classic menu's. Im thinking i might have to do a repair or re-install.
