Car5858
If you read the text above that 'callout' it tells you- So- (2) 1-1/2″ Ø × 18″ STD. AB. W/3-1/2″ PROJ. (2) two off 1-1/2″ Ø 1-1/2" diameter x 18″ 18" long STD. AB. standard anchor bolt W/3-1/2″ PROJ. with 3-1/2" projecting The 'callout' is just shorthand to save writing long notes on the drawing. The abbreviations used are standard, but can change from industry to industry and from country to country. You soon get used to using them and once you realise its shorthand you can usually guess the meaning of any new ones you come across. This is corect, there is also a 4'' bend at a 90 degree angle. So the AB (18") - Projection (3.5") = 14.5 imbeded in the concrete. With 3.5 inchs above the the base plate. Cad64
Who and what are you responding to? The problem here is there are too many different people asking questions in this thread. For all the new members, when you have a question, please start a new thread. When you all jump in one thread and start asking questions it becomes very confusing and difficult to determine who is replying to what.
