Cad64 Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 I don't know, it's your drawing, but if you click on the hatch and Autocad tells you it's a polyline, then it is not a hatch. Can you post the drawing, or at least a part of it? Quote

alanjt Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 Wow, I didn't even notice he did that, is there any strategies to attack this??Baseball bat to the head....oh oh, you were talking about the hatch. Quote
Cad64 Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 People who explode hatches or dimensions should not be allowed to use Autocad. Quote
Cad64 Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 Wow, I didn't even notice he did that How did you not notice that? When you clicked on what you thought was a hatch, it was actually just a single line, and Autocad told you it was a polyline. Didn't that give you a clue? is there any strategies to attack this?? The hatch boundaries are still there so just delete the polylines and create new hatches. Quote

When you clicked on what you thought was a hatch, it was actually just a single line, and Autocad told you it was a polyline. Didn't that give you a clue? well the reason I didnt know is because I'm still a beginner at autocad, I'm still trying to grasp the basics. The hatch boundaries are still there so just delete the polylines and create new hatches. so I would have to deleted every polyline just to fill in one section?? Quote
Cad64 Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 Yes. You don't have that much in your drawing, and you can window select most of them. It will only take a minute to select, delete and hatch. Quote
