marlon Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Hello. I want to extrude the square such that, when extruded, its upper four corners would be on the same position as the upper four corners of the cube, making it a sort of pyramid. I tried drawing a line from a corner of the square to the upper corner of the cube and used it as "Extrusion Path" but it did not work. Thank you. Quote
MSasu Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 I'm afraid LOFT command isn't available in AutoCAD 2002. Another solution: Use EXTRUDE on outside rectangle with the same height as inside box and since you know the differences between edges use CHAMFER twice (on each opposite edges) to get your slopes. Also may use SLICE to cut using planes defined by boxes edges. Regards, Quote
kencaz Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 I'm afraid LOFT command isn't available in AutoCAD 2002. Opps, did not notice was 2002... Extrude with Taper... Did this on an old copy of 04... I have 02 on another system that is down at the moment... I believe taper was available in 02 as well. Have not used 2004 for awhile. I don't know how people can use below 2008 or even 07 for that matter. KC Quote
