OMEGA-ThundeR Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Hi, I'm building an dynamic block of a sewer line, for some depth and lenght value i have added fields and calculations. But i would like that those value's are not editable. I won't be able to edit them when inserting the block if i set the 'preset' value of the ATT, but when i doubleclick or use the properties i am able to. Is there an way to lock those? (I hope i made myself clear ). Edit: Seems that setting the 'Misc' setting 'Constant' to 'YES' the value stays the same. But the field calculation on it is disabled. Quote
DNK Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Are the fields in the default value of the attribute? Quote
OMEGA-ThundeR Posted June 4, 2010 Author Posted June 4, 2010 Unless there an other location you can place fields in an attribute? But to directly answer the question, yes, the field is in the 'Default' area. Quote
DNK Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 Unless there an other location you can place fields in an attribute? Sometimes you have to start simple. But to directly answer the question, yes, the field is in the 'Default' area. What kind of field is it? FWIW, I have many constant fields that update accordingly in my title block. Quote
OMEGA-ThundeR Posted June 7, 2010 Author Posted June 7, 2010 Uhm, object based (Att value, object length) and with an formula (with fields in the formula). Quote
