Hello,

 

I was looking for a water pattern, but I couldn't quite find one. And after some playing around with the standard hatches in ACAD, I found an alternative which makes sand hatch look like water (zoomed out). I thought I'd share this.

 

I made a few examples and was wondering what you guys think of it.

Attila, the examples look fine.

 

The images look like swimming pool water, perhaps with a bit of pool finish showin' at the surface.

 

Zooming in, patterns you ear marked, look like Berber carpeting.

 

What water surface are you looking for?

 

FYI. Right now alien beings from Jupiter are having chocolate chip cookies and milk with someone in Belgium! Or.............maybe not?

I was looking for waves which i found somewhere? but that turned out ugly and full hatch i'd rather not use that.

 

In some way I'm really satisfied with the outcome of my examples. and I thought i'd share it here.

Nice work Attila, yes I zoomed in.

 

Interesting hatch, I would use it for a swimming pool or aquarium.

 

I did search the www for water hatches, nada, zip, found nothing.

Find this and then I quited my search for another!

 

Its probably best to make these kinds of hatches in a block.
