ReMark
How many turns in your coil? What is the radius of the inner and outer circles?
ReMark
An example for you. I neglected to mention one important fact. You have to use the FLATTEN command on your helix.
amyyu
How can I make the coil line thicker? I am using the 2012 AUTOCAD version and this is my first time using AUTOCAD. Thanks. Amy
JD Mather
I neglected to mention one important fact. You have to use the FLATTEN command on your helix. Not really. You can set the Turn Height to 0 for a coil during creation (or change it after the fact).

Amy If you simply want the lineweight thicker - change that. If you want solid use the polysolid command and give it the height and thickness.
