outbreak Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Hi Guys, Please review the following link: tevami.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/virctorinox-alpnach-mechanical-chrono-watch.jpg ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ PUT HTTP:// infront of the above ------------------------------- Is it possible to create text to a radius and also at an angle? If you review the attached link you will see around the rim there are numbers, this is the kind of thing i want to achive. Previously i have only been able to achieve a similar effect by creating 'moulds' and using a very time consuming meathod of subtracting and re-inserting solids. Any ideas appritiated - I'm using AutoCAD 2011. Adam. Quote
Tankman Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Welcome to the forums outbreak. Just curious, where are you posting from? Express Tools > Text > Arc-Aligned Text The example was quickly done; top semi-circle, matching bottom semi-circle. I've attached the image from your link for show 'n tell. Then I used 3D orbit to roll the whole bunch. Hey, it's a start. I did this in a minute or two using AutoCAD 2007. Added the hours, aligned. Is this what you meant? ArcAlignedText-2.dwg Quote
