Helo everyone,

Can anyone help me on the drawing?

I need to make a straight from the tangent to the end of the line, or if I begin to the end of line the tangent will be on the end of the given tangent

can anyone help me on this? I appreciate any suggestions

Here's one way...

Set your Polar Tracking settings as shown

Draw a line from the center of the arc to the tangent point; continue the line using the polar tracking snap of 90 degrees

Erase the 1st line and trim the 2nd as needed.

A Line from ENDpoint to TAN (osnaps) won't do it?

A tangent is defined by the other end of the line.. you could literally have a tangent from any point on a circle, but it depends upon your intended direction of travel from/to the circle.

You can also just execute the command then use the tangent osnap override.

eg. If you issue the LINE command, then pick the tangent point on a circle:

Draw a line from the centre of the arc to the tangent point. Draw another line at a right angle to the first. Move the second line so that one end is at the tangent point.

Is that what you need?

Draw line from tangent point on circle to point.

Rotate line by reference (center of circle to end) to (center of circle to desired point on circle).

Draw an arc from the left endpoint of the arc, to a near osnap point about mid way from the left point to the line, finally snap to the endpoint of the line. Now start the line command, hit enter, finish your line. Erase the arc.
