Hi all,

I am new to autocad and new to this forum. Is it possible to import an excel spreadsheet to CAD and the text in the spreadsheet must be on snap? I set up snap at (X,Y) 3,3 and grid is 12.

Do i have to write custom routine or scripts to get all the text and cell on snap? Thank you for your help.

I know that there are a lot of software like exellink out there for trial and i have to buy after 2 weeks or 4... A poor student like me don't have the money to purchase these software, therefore, i m seeking for help to create some routines to get the job done. Your help and reply would greatly appreciate.

as for myself, i use windows clipboard.

and pase it into acad via Menu - Edit - Paste Special.. - AutoCAD Entities.

in acad proior to 2005 you will get lines and texts, and in newer versions - acadtable.
