1badsti Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 Hi all, I am new to autocad and new to this forum. Is it possible to import an excel spreadsheet to CAD and the text in the spreadsheet must be on snap? I set up snap at (X,Y) 3,3 and grid is 12. Do i have to write custom routine or scripts to get all the text and cell on snap? Thank you for your help. Quote

VovKa Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 as for myself, i use windows clipboard. and pase it into acad via Menu - Edit - Paste Special.. - AutoCAD Entities. in acad proior to 2005 you will get lines and texts, and in newer versions - acadtable. Quote
