ReMark Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 How detailed does the reducer have to be or can it be just an approximation? Quote
ReMark Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 A simple eccentric reducer in 3D. The commands used were circle, offset, loft and subtract. Pictured below is a 4x2 eccentric reducer. The color red = O.D. The color blue = I.D. Read from left to right. First set of objects depicts both O.D.'s. Second set of objects we offset for wall thickness to get the I.D.'s. Third set of objects we loft the two I.D.'s. Fourth set of objects we loft the O.D.'s. Fifth set of objects we have subtracted the I.D. from the O.D. Done. Visual style = 2D wireframe. Quote
ReMark Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Finished eccentric reducer shown using Conceptual visual style. Do you understand the concept now? Quote
