Krystyna Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 I have to edit the existing drawing templates. I made a separate folder where I copied the dwgs and dwts from the existing Titleblocks folder and started to edit dwg and saved as dwt. I made a Test.dwg to test the my templates just to find out that my changes do not "stick". My new layers are not shown. What I am doing wrong? Quote
alanjt Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Did you create the new drawing with your newly created template? PS. To test, use New, not QNew. Quote
Krystyna Posted April 14, 2010 Author Posted April 14, 2010 It does not let me to upload .dwt file. Quote
Krystyna Posted April 14, 2010 Author Posted April 14, 2010 I uploaded jpegs: Inserted titleblock and Original titleblock. Check the Construction Legend and RCP Legend! Also, I need 98 layers but the Inserted has only 93. Any advise? Quote

lpseifert Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Are the new/revised dwt's in the folder specified for 'Drawing Template File Location' in Options > Files > Template Settings ? Quote
nukecad Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 Look At these http://www.autocadeverything.com/help/showthread.php?t=4380&highlight=template One of those drawings shows how to put a logo on there, but you can use that method to change other things as well. Quote
