Footpeg Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 VIEWPORT Layer: "Defpoints" Space: Paper space Layout: 22X34 Handle = 7E73 Status: On and Active Scale relative to Paper space: 0.0313xp Clipping is on, clip entity handle = 7E71 This shows 0.0313xp, which is actually 0.03125xp after roundoff to 4 places, and that's equivalent to a scale factor of 32 which is 3/8"=1'-0", and that's what I get if I choose option 9 to enter a custom scale and enter 32. If I multiply 0.0313 by 0.75 I get 0.023475 which equals 3/128, so I'm very confused as to what you are entering, and where you are getting fractions? Are you saying you entered 24 and would up with this? You should have posted the entire sequence beginning with the command prompt where you typed in SETUP. That would answer this question. Specify corner of window, enter a scale factor (nX or nXP), or [All/Center/Dynamic/Extents/Previous/Scale/Window/Object] : Command: Okay! That helped alot, and I found the problem, which is the RTOS function was converting the scale factor to the default units (in your case, Architectural), and the STRCAT procuced "5/128\"XP", and the ZOOM XP command crashed (see where it echoed "Requires a distance, numberX, or option keyword"). Change the following line of code: (COMMAND "_.ZOOM" (strcat (rtos (/ 1.0 CSCALE)) "XP")) to (COMMAND "_.ZOOM" (strcat (rtos (/ 1.0 CSCALE) 2 10) "XP")) and give that a try. All I really added was the 2 10 parameters to the rtos function which forces the values to decimal format and 10 places. BTW, the reason you AutoCAD spit out so much stuff for your to show me is because CMDECHO is set to 1. In this case, it helped, but if you don't want to see everything, set the value to 0. Okay, but you have to give me a clue as to what your coding for the next sheet is doing, or not doing? And, show me what you've done for the next sheet. Footpeg Quote

Footpeg Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Sorry I figured it out I left a ( out. Glad you found it! Are you writing your code in the Visual Lisp editor? If so, you can have it check for error, and locate matching parenthesis for you! I don't care how good you are, there will always be wayward or missing parens. Footpeg Quote
neekcotrack Posted August 27, 2008 Author Posted August 27, 2008 Ok I am having a problem for some reason. When I run the custom and do it fo the 30x42 and the other two i changes the page setup manager setting for that tab. Do you know why it would be doing that? Quote

Could you elaborate on what it's doing, and your code for the 30x40 would be helpful. Footpeg Quote

Footpeg It was something with not all of the sheets tabs deleting right. Thanks for everything thing again. Quote
