resting Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 I was trying to create a hole for the phone line jack. It screw up and I deleted the polygon... Theres a hollow now... Is it possible to cover it up? I think its called a face? THanks Quote
Cad64 Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 First you need to delete those extra vertices. Once you've done that, switch to "Border" sub-object selection mode, click on one of the open edges and then hit the "Cap" button. Quote
Cad64 Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 It looks like you have some overlapping faces also? You might want to fix that, otherwise it will cause problems when you render. Quote
resting Posted March 21, 2010 Author Posted March 21, 2010 thanks. I'd fixed the hollow polygon thing. So I went ahead and drew a small rectangle instead of messy with the polygons and positioned against the body of the phone. Then I followed this tutorial and got the telephone cord. Problem now is, how do I join the telephone cord to the phone? I can't seem to make modifications to the modifier through editing the polygons. Quote
Cad64 Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 Take a look at this video tutorial. There's no sound, but it goes slow and it's easy to follow. Quote
