Insert Raster Image Ref - customer can't see it

In AutoCAD 2008, I inserted a jpg as a Raster Image Reference. The drawing looks and plots perfect, but the customer says that when he opens the dwg he can only see the box around the image and the "path" of the image.

 

What am I missing to make it work for the customer?

Have you also sent the jpg image file?

 

This is needed in the customer's computer, and the customer may have to set a new path to the image file with the Image Manager.

That works or send the customer a *.pdf file if he really doesn't require a *.dwg file.

I believe if you use Etransmit it will send everything related with that drawing so they should be able to see exactly what you see.
