ReMark Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Finished so soon? I think someone was having some fun with us. Well I'm glad you're done. Can you post an image? BTW...you're welcomed. Quote
Wilbri Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 I consider CADTutor to be the best site available but it would help if you had some elementary understanding of how to draw in Autocad. From what you have said I believe you need to obtain some basic grounding, as I did. My I suggest that you try "myCADsite.com" and having become familiar with the basics, you can return to this forum where you will be assured to obtain expert assistance. Quote
ReMark Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 OK kuwait enough fun and games. Did you draw the object using AutoCAD? Yes or no? Quote
kuwait Posted March 11, 2010 Author Posted March 11, 2010 are you kidding ?? ofcourse i did why did you say this ? i am serious Quote
ReMark Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 I say it because the image above looks like it was Photoshoped. If it wasn't I apologize. Quote
Cad64 Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 are you kidding ?? ofcourse i didwhy did you say this ? i am serious Because anyone that's ever used Autocad can tell that drawing was not done in CAD. You traced it in Photoshop, correct? If you did it in Autocad, then post a screenshot of the CAD drawing. Quote
Fire_col Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 I must say I have to agree, I've never seen a swirly brown background colour in AutoCAD. Quote
busseynova Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 I think it's probablly a photograph of the actual monitor screen no? Quote
Fire_col Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Ok I think we stand corrected I just tried that on my Iphone here at work and I get the same glare and swirly background. I think we owe Kuwait and apology. Quote
ReMark Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Seeing is not always believing. Post a screenshot of the drawing with the AutoCAD toolbars, menus and command line showing along with it. That will be 'proof positive'. Quote
kuwait Posted March 12, 2010 Author Posted March 12, 2010 why is hard for you to believe me ? HW1 5936.dwg Quote
Fire_col Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Can't really argue with that can we? why is hard for you to believe me ? Look at it from our point of view Kuwait, You start this thread not knowing anything about what you have to do, then an image shows up that looks like a photoshop image. We are likely to be a bit sceptical. But fair do's to you, you did it and weren't lying. Quote
Cad64 Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 why is hard for you to believe me ? Fair enough, but next time, just hit the PrintScreen button on your keyboard, then open Photoshop or Gimp or MSPaint and Paste your screenshot. Then save as .jpg format and upload the image here. That way there will be no question that you actually did the work. Taking a photo of you monitor allowed for a lot of image distortion and strange background noise which made it look as if you had created the image in Photoshop. Quote
