CAnnondale Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 Hi Guys, I have a problem creating a dimension on a drawing that has an angle and the intersection of it has a radius. I was dimensioning a pipeline that has a 135° angle with a radius of 762mm, Now, I do want to dimension (linear) the intersection of the two lines, how do I do that? I have attached a jpg for clearer picture of what I meant. Quote
linnmaster Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 You can select the centre point on the left end. To get your other point, you need to get the "apparent intersection" of the two centre lines ... to do this, LMB one of the center lines, move cursor so the other centre line is highlighted, then RMB to bring up menu, and then select "intersection", then move your cursor to highlight the second centre line again, you will see a "yellow" snap dot at the "apparent intersection", LMB when you see the yellow dot ... linnmaster Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 The center cross mark you have on the left end of the bar, if you select the center, you can RMB, and select align, and click on the slanting geometry to make your drawing neater. Quote
CAnnondale Posted March 9, 2010 Author Posted March 9, 2010 Thanks linnmaster. Though, it took me quite some try to get the result:D. Appreciate it. Quote
