Does anybody know any add-on software that extracts attributes (data extraction) from AutoCAD to an Excel spreadsheet? As shown in the diagram, the wire numbers are blocks called ‘WIRENO’ (inside red high-lighted boxes). I only want to extract these blocks but nothing else shown on the diagram. Also, this software also needs to do multiple drawings at time. If there is other ways of doing this besides data extraction, please let me know. Quote
ReMark Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 It should be possible to extract the data, using the ATTEXT command, contained within the attributed blocks in one of three formats: CDF, SDF or DXF. You will, however, have to create a template file. Quote
