Tiger Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 while I am sure that there are people here that know how to do real models, it doesn't really fit in any other forum than the Catch All, which is why I moved it here. GOod luck with your modelling! Quote
ReMark Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Well you still have to draw it out right? Even if it is a 2D floor plan so you can get some idea of the room size, how it will be furnished and what sizes the objects in the game room (pool table, air hockey table, etc.) are and how that compares to the size of the room you're going to put them in. You could use foam board or balsa wood (or both) for the basis of the room itself. I'm sure if you go to any good hobby store that sells build-it-yourself dollhouses you could find furntiure and architecture elements you could incorporate into the design. If I were you I'd sit down with pencil and paper and do a quick sketch of the room. Then I'd make a list of what furniture or gaming equipment I was going to put in the room. You'll have to give some thought to the height of the walls too. Figure out where any doors and windows will be placed as well. Then come back here with some of your ideas and we'll see what we can do to assist you. Quote
Strix Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 What subject are you studying Dunte11? Is this for an art project, or for a specific field of design? Did your tutor give you any more information than 'build a model'? Quote
