muck Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 If I install AutoCAD 2010 & then I install VB.net express 2008 which are two independent programs. How do I get my VB.express to act on AutoCAD 2010 where I have an interface to begin learning how to program AutoCAD with the .net products? Is there any step by step tutorials on this? Thank you, Quote
AC2Designs Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 Have you seen this? I have not looked at it yet, but thought I'd send it your way just in case... I can not post website links, but if you will google: "AutoCAD vb net developers guide" you should find some help. Whether it is good help or not, is another question. Quote

gile Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 Hi, You can find on this page some usefull downloads : ObjectARX : which contains chm files and some .NET samples Introduction to AutoCAD .NET Programming : a video AutoCAD .NET labs : a tutorial AutoCAD .NET wizards : a wizard which adds a new Model to Visual Studio AutoCAD .NET developer's Guide : mentioned above You can also use DotNetARX which is heplfull to strat a new AutoCAD .NET project (download the Express version). But if you're new to .NET, before trying to program AutoCAD you should learn Visual Studio and .NET basics (there're many tutorials, forums, books about this). Quote
