yusefk Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 I'm looking to write a block so that when my description key manager references it, it comes in at twice the scale Quote
alanjt Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 you could just open the block and scale it up 2x. if you look in help under description key manager it will tell you the variables to set up the descriptor keys (mdb file). i don't have ldd at home, so i can't be of more help. sorry. Quote
yusefk Posted August 17, 2008 Author Posted August 17, 2008 I can get it to come in through the DKM but I want make the block come in at twice the scale, is there a way of editing the block to make it always come in at twice the scale? Quote
rustysilo Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 As alanjt said, simply edit the block in the block editor. Scale it up by 2 to double the size. Then whenever it is inserted it will be twice the former size. Quote
yusefk Posted August 18, 2008 Author Posted August 18, 2008 And that should make it apply to all drawings? I only ask because that was one of the first things I tried and it doesn't seem to work. Quote
rustysilo Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 If this is set in your template file then it will work for all new dwgs, but you would have to go back and change it in old dwgs. Quote
