tuxarut Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 Long time browser first time poster. We have a large ploter, the rolls are 36"'s. I am trying to plot multiple parts on a 36x24 sheet. I am having a tough time trying to figure the proper size dimensions/text for it. The parts are 184" long with .25 diameter hole along it. Can you guys please help me figure a dimension style for this size of print. Quote
ReMark Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 I'd recommend your text height be no larger than 1/8" and no smaller than 3/32". Quote
BOB'27T Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 I usually set my dimtext to .08. I set my arrows at .10. This is our somewhat company standard. Quote
tuxarut Posted August 15, 2008 Author Posted August 15, 2008 What I did was took the standard dimension style and tripled most the values. Worked alright but could be tweaked more. What is the standard dimension style and where do they get these values? How should I go about setting up different dimension styles for different layouts/scales? Quote
