Rudbeckia Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 having troubles with all of my text in one drawing when I go to edit, there are no grips to stretch the box to add more text there is just a box around the text but no grips, any thoughts? Quote
Pablo Ferral Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 is the width of the Mtext 0? Try setting the width to something else. The grips should appear. Quote
Rudbeckia Posted February 8, 2010 Author Posted February 8, 2010 the text itself is not 0, its 1 how do you change the MT width? Quote
mdbdesign Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Command: MTEXT Current text style: "Standard" Text height: 0.2000 Specify first corner: Specify opposite corner or [Height/Justify/Line spacing/Rotation/Style/Width]: W Specify width: 1 Quote
CarlB Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 You can change the width in the Properties manager. Quote
Rudbeckia Posted February 8, 2010 Author Posted February 8, 2010 okay i tried both of those, dont think thats the problem there is a strange looking box around the text when I edit (looks different then normal text edit box) Quote
CarlB Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 What does "list" report for the mtext? Are 9 Internet Site pages open distracting **EDIT** also, what are your settings for "Grips", could be they are turned off. The edit box isn't necessarily a sign of a problem, looks like mine.. Quote

Pablo Ferral Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Click on the little rule icon in the tool bar to be able to dynamically re-size your text when in the WYSIWG Mtext editor. Quote
