Timms_KHP Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 Hi all, i'm trying to create a chamfer between a concrete slab and concrete upstand/parapet wall. Its above the stair so the chamfer will create the min 2.0m headroom clearance, (required in the uk). how do i do this? picture attached, hopefully. [/img] Quote
qabulin Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 First, determine what the slanted section BEST represents: an up-slanted slab, or a down-slanted wall. Once you have determined this, you can the put in a separate slanted wall or slab and simply use Join to blend things together There are various ways to get a slanted component: slabs can have the edges manipulated and sloped, you could pick a slanted line or plane as a guide line and use it to place the wall... etc... If you're in Revit 2010, I know you can set a split line and then use the manipulative options for slabs to move edges around and use the split line as a pivot point. Let me know if you need more help, a vid or pictures. Good luck! Quote
