AJSmith Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 i was asked today what the command to stop seeing one viewport throught another when you have one on top of the other i didnt know if this could be done can it?? Quote
AJSmith Posted February 2, 2010 Author Posted February 2, 2010 this is what iv got a layout plan with an insert detail on top and the layout can be seen through the insert so you can see the 3 gray lines of the layout in the insert detal if there a way of just stopping this ?? im not sure there is but not 100% Quote
Pablo Ferral Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Could you use VPCLIP to clip away what you don't want? You may need to draw two polylines and then convert them into a region before converting this into a viewport to get what your're after. Quote

AJSmith Posted February 3, 2010 Author Posted February 3, 2010 from the sound of it its not just as easy as changing a properties of one of the viewports. thats what i expected but when i was asked it made me think cheers for the feedback Quote
BIGAL Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 Another simple way is keyhole your viewport. You can create a polygon viewport, start on outside to bottom middle then vertically up to inside viewport go round then continue back on outside one. Quote
