moving a tif XREF

Hello,

 

Using Cad 2007. I have a TIF file that was inserted as an XREF by someone else. When I move the cad file to another directory, the TIF image is gone. All I see is the last part of an address or its location. When I type XREF, the File Reference box where it lists the attached files, states "not found".

 

I am unable to change anything in the Details. Clicking on "Found At" only applies to DWG or DXF files.

 

What can I do to keep this image in the file?

You'll need to re-path into the new drawing. You may try detaching it, then reloading it. If not, you'll need to reinsert it. I run into this problem alot, as we use many aerial tiff images. Hope this will help!
