skipsophrenic Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Hi all, i'm using acad 2004 at the moment, am trying to copy a bunch of details from one drg to another, however when i paste copy with base point (0,0) with ucs set to world, and on the new drg paste to original coordinates (ucs = world again) my leader start points are seriously out of sync (See drgs below) I have already audited and regened nothin wrong, and they're all on same drawing plane (Z value = 0) Original Problem Any ideas, as i'm well puzzled :? skip Quote
BOB'27T Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Are the leaders annotative? Also check the default setting for your leaders. The arrowhead size may be a different size, and will cause them to go haywire in the new drawing. Hope this helps! Quote
dbroada Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 I have suffered with this is the past but I don't think I ever cured it. Quote
skipsophrenic Posted August 15, 2008 Author Posted August 15, 2008 Fixed it by adjusting them manually 1 by one. bob - anotative scaling doean't happen in acad '04 (wish it did) still waiting for the upgrad to '08 at work, would make life just a little bit easier as use '08 at home Quote
RobDraw Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 I believe the problem is the leaders are associative before you copy them. I'm not sure why they behave that way when pasting them but removing the associativity before you copy should resolve that issure. Quote
skipsophrenic Posted August 15, 2008 Author Posted August 15, 2008 i'll give it a try next time problem shows up (knowin my luck, it'll be in next 5 mins) Quote
skipsophrenic Posted August 15, 2008 Author Posted August 15, 2008 nope, don't matter whether they associative or not i guess i'll have to stick to manual changes after all Quote
RobDraw Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 I thought that worked for me before, sorry. You could try pasting as block. Not a permanent fix but they should hold their position until you explode the block. Quote
skipsophrenic Posted August 15, 2008 Author Posted August 15, 2008 i'll give it a try, anythings better than 50+ mouse clicks a time Quote
