Filename field references xref filename

So the detail files i have done have filename fields that are referencing the xref filename (once xref-ed) instead of the original detail filename. how can i make it alway reference the original filename?

are you saying that it is displaying the current drawing's file name but you want it to show the file name of the piece part?

 

I am not aware that you can but somebody else may know different.
