SIMPLE 3-Point ARC

Recommended Posts

I am unable to progress beyond the "Specify endpoint of arc .. in STEP 9. I know I can draw it a lot of different ways, its just that there must be something wrong in the layout.

I know that these kinds of excersies specifies different ways to do things simply so that you get familiar with all kind of ways to do things - but why right-click? a the Specify endpoint of arc or [Angle/chordL Lenght] - prompt just hit A for Angle - does that work? That said, I could right-click and select Angle. What happens when you right-click?

As the screen image shows. I have no angle option to select.

You have to type Center first, then pick the first point, which will be the center of the arc.

I have done that, here is the command line smegma.

Now I think I get what you are doing. In the last screen-shot, where it says Specify second Point of arc or [Center/End]: _cen of - the _cen of means that you have invoked an OSNAP, not the Center option from the Arc-command.

Do you have OSnaps set to show up on your right-click manu? Then you've probobly hit the Center-OSnap, instead of the Center-option. See if you can gind another center in the right-click menu.

At the first prompt it says pick start point or (Center). That means to get the center option the operator has to type C, Enter, then pick the first point.
