Mason Dixon Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 I've been offsetting alot at corners and was wondering if there was a quick command to connect offset lines at 90 degree angle instead of drawing 2 lines and trimming Quote
lpseifert Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 Fillet , radius=0 (or hold Shift while selecting the lines to be filleted) Quote
Tiger Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Or use Polylines and you'll get a continous line when you offset. Quote
vinci_3000 Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Type PEDIT. It will ask if you want to change it into a polyline - type Y (yes), then enter, type J (join) and click on all of the lines you want connected. also if you have lines forming a closed space: type "bpoly" click "pick points" then click in the internal area of the closed space Quote
luther4000 Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 If you know you are going to offset them, draw them direclty as Polylines, so when you offset, they will generate a corner automatically. Otherwise, if offseting lines, use FILLET, and press shift while clicking on the second line, this will override the fillet radius and create a corner. Quote
