In our office, we are now starting to rediscover the multline feature, to use it the different sections and views of different contry steel section when we import that file type(dependant on the contrys standards) and creates similart to dynamic blocks,

the question tho is, is their a bettera better way of doin things, atm it just gives a pritty picture of thing, and when looking at properties gives little more than 'hows long a peice of string', is their a way with out exploding it to find the lenth of it? is their a way to add attributes sort of style for it to help work out masses, and similar things

any oppionions or help would be awesome

do you mean you just want to find the length of a multi line, or the sections, quickly? like dimension wise?

Have you considered, for the moment, that perhaps you are using the wrong software for the job? Are you primarily involved with structural detailing?

sort of, we will do 10-80m bridges quite frequently, tho the bridge is only 1/5 of the jobs where we work in alot of piping and heavy items aswell. yes we are using the wronge program , we should be using solid work, but its a very slow process as we have over 40 drafters + every thing eles, so till we do, i am making changes to out process, including goin threw their list routine that has programs from 1995, but thats another story

and about the buble command, looks go, but would that give me the required info, as wat i can see it shows wat is show in the properites menu easily? and + u have to pay, witch is hard to get when the higher bosses (who dnt work with the programs) say that things are good how they are

cheers guys for the intrest
