Properties units

I work in the metric world, How do I set the decimal point for area, height, etc., in the properties dialog box ??

I work in millimeters, but would like to read area in m2 in the properties box or the list window. Is this possible ??

basically, no. AutoCAD works in units, you tell it what those units are. It is possible to put a multiplier in your dim style so you can have mm dimensions displayed in meters but I don't know how to change anything in properties.

From the Properties panel you can access the quick calculator. Here you can define your own function to multiply the shown number with 10e9 (or with whatever value you wish). Or use the built-in units converter.

The data will still show in default units, but you can get the desired results with just a few clicks. However I don't think it worts for just a simple calculus -you can just mentally move the decimal point. Well, just my thoughts.
