Hi,

No but the height is 16mm and total length is 84mm.I am told I need to use "divide" command to equally space the shapes.

What is the height of the narrow end?

You could draw it using a polyline then use a dense cross-hatch to fill the shape in.

Well then, use DIVIDE - draw a line across the whole shape and start the command DIVIDE and follow the isntructions at the commandline.

Just draw from first principles a series of horizontal and vertical lines fillet and trim till you get the correct shape

Just hatch the shape using "solid" if you want 1 colour or else use "dots" and play with the spacing to alter density.

This is really basic Autocad have you attempted some of the tutorials to learn basic commands ? Line arc offset fillet trim etc

Tip: for this set PDMODE to 3

Remember the 3 triangles on top are drawn on top of a rectangle first :)

Once you've drawn your rectangle, draw a line from the bottom left corner to the bottom right.

Offset this line by 16mm upwards, and delete the original line (Not the rectangle).

In the command line type in DIVIDE, and select the offset line.

When asked for how many segments put in 3.

you should see two points appear looking like x's

Now simply draw in lines (node osnap will help as well as endpoint) to make the triangles.

Now just delete the nodes/points and then hatch in the area.

:)
