Lee Mac Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 At least you are humble enough to admit it Quote
Fire Alarm Posted December 30, 2009 Author Posted December 30, 2009 Yeah, imagine if everyone else was like that, but that's why he's ReMarkable. HAHA:D Quote
todouble22 Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 Take a look at this. http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?t=35933 If you use the tfind.lsp on page 1 combined with the newfun.lsp on page 3 (substituting your own parameters) you'll obtain the desired results. You can thank forum member Freerefill for the code afterwards. After some testing on my machine I was able to combine the lisps and write a script and a batch file to open several drawings and run the program to find and replace all the desired text in each drawing and save the new drawing in an updated folder leaving the original unchanged. I'm still practicing it with creating my own lisp as it goes with this link and with the assistance of leemac and remark and dbroada, I'm sure I'll need it. the link is here: http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?t=43157&page=2 and if you'd like to take a look at the files I'll post them up Quote
Fire Alarm Posted December 30, 2009 Author Posted December 30, 2009 That's great. Right now though I am using the method that Lee Mac found out about. See link http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?t=43373&page=2. But when I get a knowledge of lisps, I will give it look. Thanks. Quote
daveyboyd Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 An easier method for you to try: Is there a way of putting this in a script? I have a lot of drawings I need to change Mtext in and I dont want to open each one individually, I have scriptpro but dont know how to fit FIND command in . . .? Thanks Dave Quote
