Tankman Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 If I get some courage, and loot, I might try one of Lenovo's dual screen laptops. A bit large for carryin' around, my T-60 Thinkpad™ with it's 14" screen is easy enough to tote when travelling. Has anyone tried one of these dual screen laptops? Like it? Quote
CadDan Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 From personal experience by messing around with a friend's father's, I can say they aren't what they're cracked up to be. Granted they are a "workstation", they weigh a ton and the pull-out screen serves no real useful purpose and seems flimsy to me. Quote

I prefer my 14" screen which is crystal clear. The Thinkpad™ T-60 I'm using runs '05 and/or '07 like no tomorrow. I have never had a problem. Years back, tried most laptops, was a pain. This shoulder, that shoulder, was like dancing through the various airports. Small is good! Of all the "common" brands, the Thinkpad™ excels in my opinion. I had a T-41, T-42p, T-43 and now the T-60 which I've been using for almost three years. I passed the older T's to the adult kids. I have four between 35 & 45. Darn I'm getting old! One daughter spent a year in Vegas, worked for mining companies. A geologist mapping old mines. Quote
