Visual Style: Conceptual

Hi, I can not understand why my objects seems somewhat transparent - the lines behind should not be visible.

Help please.

Thank you in advance.

Try setting the variable VSOBSCUREDEDGES to 1 and see if that helps at all.

No, only where the lines should be invisbile changed to light grey colour

Possibly a graphics card related problem? What are you using?

Posted

Really? I'd expect that answer from the every day computer user not from someone running a CAD system. Find out and report back. It would help to know the manufacturer's name, the model of the card (it is a dedicated graphics card not a GPU right?) and how much video RAM is onboard.

Ex. - nVidia GeForce 8800 GTX with 756MB DDR2 RAM

Hi ReMark

Graphic card: NVDIA GeForce 8800 GTS.

RAM on board: 320

Thanks.

"Maybe the solids are crossing another solid.."

What do you mean please?

they may be overlapping solids, try to check your drawing in the wireframe if they don't intersect.

Is DISPSILH set to 1?

What is ISOLINES set at (the default is 4)? Set this to 0.

Try setting VSEDGES to 0.

Try INTERFERE to check if there's an intersecting solid.
