Randolph Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 concerning the photo - i think you mean a snapshot - you can use either the Print key next to the Pause key (does anybody know what that is for) on your keyboard. Alt+Print will only "photograph" the active window. Then go to a paint program like MS Paint. Ctrl+V will insert the screenshot in the paint program. Save. Easier would be to download a screenshot program like "Snagit". To upload, GO ADVANCED and you'll find an upload manager. Quote
Randolph Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Handle: I guess you made your cup creating a 3DSOLID using the ROTATE command from a spline or polyline. Go to side view. Draw a spline according to the shape of the handle. It should intersect with your cup, so that both ends of the spline are well inside the cup. Go to 3D View. Go to WCS (World Coordinate System). Draw a CIRCLE or an ELLIPSE with the center at one end of your spline as the profile of your handle. Don't care for the orientation. Click the EXTRUSION button from the 3D TOOLBOX. Click your CIRCLE. Choose the option [PATH] Click on your SPLINE. You should see your handle now. Use different SHADE MODES. But the ends of the handle are visible inside the cup. COPY the cup without moving. SUBTRACT the cup from the handle. SEPARATE the handle (not sure about the english name of the command - you find it in the MODIFY 3D SOLIDS TOOLBOX. The symbol is '2 little cubes with a dashed line inbetween' next to the button with the broom.) DELETE the inside parts. You're done. Inshallah you'll be succesful. Quote
