lewinskys Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Hi I am a totally new user of ANY AutoCad product. I am currently trying to build a House in Sketchup, apply a photo as a texture then import this into Civil3D. The wireframe comes over but the images dont. Does anyone have a document, or process that I need to follow to get these materials to show up on my model in Civil3d? I even exported from Sketchup into .3Ds format which gives me the wireframe and the individual photos of each side as a separtate .jpg image file. Not sure what to do next to get this job done. Quote
rustysilo Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 You may need to create the material in Civil 3d (which is a normal AutoCAD function). Type in MATERIAL and enter. This will bring up the materials box which you can create a new material in and assign the proper images. F1 for help doing this if you need it. Quote
