Hi Lee,

 

Thanks for your quick reply. It just exits with no error message. I am not sure if I posted to the correct thread as this thread seems to be regarding the automatic re-alignment lisp routine. Many apologies for any confusion.

I have updated the code for the Dynamic Text Curve Align program to Version 2.9.

 

This resolves the major bug that Asos has kindly spotted, among other code improvements.

 

Your feedback is appreciated, and of course, any other bug reports! :)

A Crazy and foolish idea

 

is it working if the text in a dynamic block,

 

im sure 99.98% the answer is NO

but there is still 0.01% for YES

and 0.01% for maybe

I don't have much experience in Dynamic Blocks, but isn't there some kind of constraint that could apply?

Hi Lee,

awsome projects,....just a question,...i tried using dynamic align text to curve,....when the command prompts the "select text or type", when i select text it doesnt seem to work,....unless this issue has been addressed. thanks

Thanks aeroCAD - I've not had that been reported before however. You should be able to select some text, then select the desired curve to align to. Do you receive an error?

the command just simply goes back to norm. but there is a .redraw that appears on the command line
