mig42 Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 Just wondering if anyone works in a Telecommunications company doing Autocad? I did 8 years ago as an intern for 6 months but would like to get back into it. Is there any good websites/books that you would recommend to get up to speed on the standards/symbols etc, or even see sample drawings. Thanks! Quote
CADken Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Check Craigslist to see if there are any opening in the field and see if you can visit some of these companies to see what standards they are using... any future employer will be happy to point you in the right direction. Quote
rustysilo Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 I used to work in catv mapping, but that has been over 7 years ago now. Where are you wanting to work, geographically speaking? Quote
rustysilo Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 I guess you found what you were looking for? Quote
