veinsilk Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 eloe again.I just want to ask if there's anyway that Acad 2010 saves automatically in lower version? Quote
sevdo2000 Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 go to tools>options or right click in the model space>options>open and save tab>under file save put the roll down menu to the desired version good luck Quote
veinsilk Posted October 31, 2009 Author Posted October 31, 2009 Tnx alot. This will be helpful. Quote
rocneasta Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 autocad hasn't released file version higher than 2007 therefore it will always save as a dwg that can be opened in 2007. if i'm mistaken correct me Quote
sevdo2000 Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 No, the 2010 save in own release, so 2009 can't open file create and saved in 2010. (2009 saves in 2007 release) Quote
rocneasta Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 you are correct, i did a few mesh modeling in 2010 then opened them in 2008without a problem, but i see now that by default it's saving in 2007 release and it has a 2010 release above... lol never gotten to checking that out you learn new things every day Quote
Cadologist Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Typically (as of the past several releases) AutoDesk only changes the file format every three versions (2004, 2007, 2010.......) Quote
