Why are you looking for him? Does he still owe you for that cup of coffee you bought him?

The image shows "promise." What is the program and, where can we get it?

Hopefully a "free" download somewhere!

Looks great for structural steel work! Hope you find the author!

The program is called Al Rogers Mill Steel and is available for download at Cadalyst magazine. Look for Tip1779.

Just want to convince him to add pipe fitting program to re-size dialog box.

Just use trial version of Pipefitpro and know with little (?) effort something like that will work with Al's Mill Steel. Got all fitting data (imperial).

Also need to thank him again...

Could it be the same Allen Rogers work works as a cold mill process engineer for Nucor Steel in Huger, South Carolina?

Posted

Will try to find out. Thank you.

....

OK I got it.

....

Looks like I find him.

I got his cell #f rom reception but nobody pick up.

Will try later...

Really? Are you sure it is the right Allen Rogers?

Posted

Same name, I don't know ( do you know something and want to keep secret? :-))

Posted

No secrets here. I only assumed that a guy named Allen Rogers who worked as a cold mill process engineer in a place called Nucor Steel might be the same person who wrote the program called Al Rogers Mill Steel. I don't know how I made that connection. Do you think that it's kind of a stretch?

It would be something if they were one-in-the-same now wouldn't it?

Posted

Will try and let you know

Hey ReMark is not him, sorry.

Here, for the time being, is a free CD for pipe fittings.

A valuable resource when drawing pipe fittings.
