Pipe connection in revit MEP

Is it posibile to connect pipe with small diameter to a pipe with a large diameter without a tee and reducer. Just small pipe welded into a biger pipe.

Not it is not possible.

I just found out that it is possibile. You modify the duct takeot familiy and change the tap connection setting in your pipe familiy and it works.

How did you modify the duct take-out to work? I can't seem to figure that out...

Thanks for the family. I gave it a try with mixed results. I was hoping for a family that would recognize the pipe diameters of the hosted family. But, with some editing, I bet I can get it to work.
