When I do dimensions of complex thing after then I have to align all strech point of dimension on the same level. and this process is very boring and it takes a lot of time. for quick imagination I did enclose of picture. please do you know some tricks or tips. or is it needing to creat a autolisp command for that? rkent Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 set your osnaps on, set to endp, turn Otrack on, start dims on right most side (for your example), use dimcontinue, otrack acquire the endp of the next line and then the Y coordinate of the first line. See help for Otrack if you haven't used it before. Quote
Dipali Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 easiest solution for this is to use 'fixed length extension lines' in dimension style you can find it in dimension style dialoguebox under lines. type appropriate no as per your drawing in lenght for it. you may have try few diff. length before you get it right.
