cg_25 Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 Hey, I'm new to the forums, as you can tell, and I'm looking for a comprehensive guide to realistic rendering in AutoCAD. I am currently modeling a single room and need some guidance. I'm trying to create furniture from scratch, since I am unaware of any accessible databases. Since I will be including a lot of textured furniture, such as beds with cushions, I am wondering if I should create these objects from meshes or create more basic models and apply textures. My knowledge of modeling in AutoCAD is fairly comprehensive, however my knowledge of rendering methods is not. I have done a few renderings in Architectural AutoCAD, but the results were not that impressive. I attached an example of what I've done in the past. I am looking to improve my rendering abilities and start using textures and realistic lighting. As you can tell, my lighting is way over exposed, the window is glazed, and the sofas are rigid and without any materials. So, if you could point me towards a good guide, or give me a few tips, it would be much appreciated. Quote
