Lee Mac Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 Mike, I have just tried it on the drawing that you posted, and yes, I see your issue. But i cannot see how to fix it, the osnaps seem to appear at a set offset from the object, but i do not know what is causing that offset. Does this happen on all your drawings? Lee Quote
Se7en Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 Lee If I were u, id create a website, and offer memberships for like 5$ a month. And you would post up all the custom lisp you've created. and offer unlimited support with ur lisps. Id be the first to sign up. *lol* with friends like you who needs enemies? cost of a domain: $15 cost of maintaining website: $200-300 a month cost of writing code: $100 per hour. cost of first lawsuit: priceless. JeepMaster Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 Lee, You could also have people donate to you for your help. Setup a paypal account for people to sent you donation. On your signature you could write "-- Have a lisp request, sent money first --":D:D:D Quote
Se7en Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 ...now you know another reason --of many-- i dont give people code. I especially liked the ``unlimited support'' part. MikeP, i know you are just being complimentary and nice. I'm not trying to be mean or anything, i just wanted to pick on you a bit. Quote

People dont/wont pay. And when a custom program kills a production drawing, heads will roll. Quote

Lee Mac Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 Yes, every drawing. What if you just remove the custom osnaps? Well, it must be a sys var setting is all I can think. You could just turn 'em off (F3). Quote
MikeP Posted August 4, 2009 Author Posted August 4, 2009 Well, it must be a sys var setting is all I can think. You could just turn 'em off (F3). But what ever you did, I cant even use Shift+right click. f3 doesnt do anything to help it though. Quote

You cannot use the full functionality of AutoCAD through a GrRead loop, (which the program runs on). Hence ObjectSnaps need to be "imitated" through the code. So does the Orthomode setting. Quote

Lee Mac Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 Now im itching to use this program. it could really help me. Any way of just simplifying it? I could take out the OSnaps if you like, but you won't get any ObjectSnap capability then. Quote
