Ok, got a situation here that I don't know how to resolve. I'm running Civil 3D Land Desktop Companion 2009. All patches have been installed, etc. When I go to edit my scale list (ex. to add 1:300 scale or 1:400 scale) my computer just sits there. If I click with my mouse I get the beeping sound that I get when it's trying to tell me to close my other application in AutoCAD first before trying to do something else. So it almost sounds like the ScaleListEdit command is active and working but nothing is showing up. When I hit escape my command bar shows like I exited the scale list. Any ideas??

For some reason in the back of my mind I keep thinking about something that happened in the past where the application was coming up but was just in the background to where I couldn't access it but I can't for the life of me remember the details and what the fix was. I've searched the forums and can't find the answer though I may not be putting in the right search topics.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like the dialog is off the screen.

See this for a possible fix: http://cadpanacea.com/node/95

In the meantime, try the command line version of that command [-scalelistedit] also.

That was the fix. I had forgotten how to do that it had been so long since it had happened. Will deffinately write it down this time. Thanks for the help.
