Rob-GB Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 As a truly global resource, Cadtutor has many visitors from a large number of countries, which is wonderful. However, from reading some posts it is hard to tell where the OP is from and this can have a bearing on how best to answer their question. For example: Questions relating to building practice may need answers that conform to local regulations (countrywide or state etc). These may be best answered by people with "local" knowledge. Educational biased questions may need an understanding of what is provided and how to obtain help in the country or state the OP is in. So wouldn't it be beneficial to have country or state as "highly recommended to be" in the user profile? The quality of written English in posts also makes it hard to guess where in the world the poster is from. Anyway just a muse from "Sleepless in the UK" Regards Rob. Quote
