dims with mm's

Is there a way of adding mm's to the dims ? ie

yep

 

modify your dimstyle to add mm as a suffix in the Primary units section.

 

or

 

in properties add 'mm' in the text overides box and that will put mm at the back of your dim.

Thanks Ryder76 but please add a pic of where u r talking about please as i did look in dimstyle for this feature and was unable to see it there, going home now so will look back in morning

I think Ryder was referring to the properties window for the dimensions, not the styles dialogue box. If you select all the dimensions you'd like to add the mm to then right click -> properties and go to the text section of the properties window. Simply find the text override line and add "mm" and they should all update with mm's.

My first suggestion is the one shown in Chelsea's pic. My second suggestion is the one done with the properties dialog box. My preference is the first one when dimensioning in mm, but if you only have one or two dims you want to show the units for the second will work just fine.
