grouch19 Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 I am having a problem in AutoCAD 2008 where the program seizes when i click file then open or file then save. The PC is thinking about doing the task but just hangs there for ages. I can still close the program with the X in the top right so it is not crashing. It seems to be that every time AutoCAD access's something though itself via explorer it can't continue. I have disabled my virus checker and the task manager shows that acad is responding and is not using too much memory. Any one have any clues? Quote
ReMark Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Has service pack 1 been installed? Have you tried the Repair option? When did the problem first occur? What changes, if any, have been made to hardware and software prior to the problem surfacing? Does the problem occur with any drawing or with a specific drawing? Quote
OSCGOLF Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 How about your computer?.... Our company had issues with graphic cards not being compatible with AutoCad 2008 when we purchased the upgrade, you might check that too. Quote
